There are many more field stones marking unknown gravesites scattered throughout this old cemetery.
Marilyn Davis Barefield states in her book "Clarke County Alabama Records 1814-1885",
that this is also the burial place of Malcolm Calhoun who died August 28, 1823
and his wife, Christian McCorquodale, who died March 23, 1828.
